It has been a while since I have written on my blog times seems to be flying by. I have done a few chatts at community groups and it always seems badly recieved informing parents that they have to wash their nappies at home being the main objection!
Although I have just recieved some positive feedback from one community centre and that is such a good feeling knowing that more parents are turning to using real nappies.
If parents bought 20 birth to potty pocket nappies, say the most expensive brand at £20 a nappy, they would set you back £400. That would save parents a whopping £924.00!
Disposable nappies make up aboit 4% of household waste and they take 500 years to degrade.
If Henry the VIII where in nappies they would still be degrading now! YUK
We need to be more RESPONSIBLE.
Even if you only used 1 cloth nappy a day in place of a disposable that would sae 730 nappies going into landfill from just 1 baby! that is a staggering amount!

Feedback is always GOOD!
Dear Candice,
I just wanted to know if you are availble to attended our baby group in March 2010 to give parents information about using cloth nappies (the same as what you did when you attened the session in August 2009). The group runs on tuedsay from 1:30pm - 3:30pm. After your previous talk when you attended the baby group in August 2009 a lot of the parents choose to use cloth nappies.
Yours sincerely,
